The nitty gritty that nobody reads

We’re not mean badgers, but we need you to know a few things to help us create your badges. Please read this – we’ve tried to make it as quick and painless as possible.

Ordering stuff

A digital image of your badge will be sent to you for approval. We won’t start making it until you’ve given us the thumbs up via email. Please double check everything before you OK it. We’ll fix any mistakes we make for free, but changes after the approval may be tricky depending on where we are in the process. We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes after you have approved the artwork. If you want to reorder your design, we’ll need your email confirmation again to make sure everything’s right.

Colour matching

Screens can be funny with colours, so there might be slight differences between what you see and the final badge. We cannot be held responsible for any minor colour differences that occur from monitor to monitor.

Delivery times

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible but delivery delays happen and we cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery due to Royal Mail. Orders of 100 or more will be sent using a tracked service so you can track their journey. For quantities under this you can request tracking if needed, but this may increase the postage costs to you a little.

Stuff we can’t control or  “force majeure” if you want to get fancy about it

Sometimes crazy things happen, these things might include (but are not limited to): adverse weather conditions, fire, explosion, accident, traffic congestion, riot, terrorism, act of God, (maybe even aliens?). If any of these things delay your badge, we can’t be held responsible.

Collection

If you want to pick up your badge you can! Just schedule a time with us beforehand.

Payment

We’ll send you an invoice for either a 50% deposit or full payment upfront, payable by bank transfer (details will be on the invoice). Your badge-making adventure starts once we receive payment. If you have paid a 50% deposit, you’ll need to pay the full amount before we dispatch your badges – we’ll invoice you.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel after we’ve begun creating your badge, any deposits paid are non-refundable.

Copyright stuff

By placing an order, you confirm that you have permission to use any copyrighted material in your design. It’s your responsibility to make sure it’s all legal, we will not be held responsible for your design. If we create your badge artwork, we hold the copyright for that specific design, but don’t worry, we won’t make more without your permission or sell them to anyone else.

Our right to refuse

Do not send us designs that are:

  • False, inaccurate or misleading.
  • Stealing someone else’s work (copyright, trademark etc).
  • Breaking the law or encouraging others to do so.
  • Considered to be mean, offensive, abusive, threatening or defamatory.
  • Discriminatory or promoting hatred/violence, including but not limited to race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, against any group or person.
  • Sharing someone else’s private information.
  • May harass, upset, embarrass or alarm any person.

Basically, be respectful, we reserve the right to refuse service.

Discrepancies/Faulty Goods

In the very unlikely event of any discrepancies or faults, let us know within 48 hours of receiving it. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
